Paint out Chadds Ford was moved to the first week of March this year, but it didn’t lead to warmer weather. We had a challenging mix of clouds, sun, wind and snow squalls. Above is the only in-progress shot I took — shortly after that my easel blew over! I was painting at Hill Girt Farm, and you can see that after a blustery morning, towards sunset the clouds broke and the fields were illuminated with beautiful warm light.
